    What's the story

After the 2018 romantic drama Manmarziyaan, Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu are teaming up again, this time for an enticing science-fiction offering titled Dobaaraa.

The announcement about the thriller was made today by both the director and the actor.

They shared a quirky two-minute-long clip to tease fans about their latest collaboration.

Here are more details on this.

    Details

    Filming begins soon, says Kashyap

Sharing the teaser on Twitter, Kashyap wrote, "See what happens when you travel time across the dimensions of the universe. Filming begins soon! #Dobaaraa. (sic)"

Meanwhile, Pannu tweeted, "Time. Space. Universe. 2021 will make you question everything. Filming begins soon! @anuragkashyap time to add some lights and color to your frame again, let's do it #DOBAARAA. (sic)"

    Teaser

This is how the teaser unfolds

In the teaser, Pannu is seen arriving back home and reading scripts.

She learns through Alexa that a storm is looming over the city, one that is coming back after many years on the same date and at the same time.

She then asks Alexa to play a cool and "edgy" movie, but curiously, it is Kashyap who shows up on her TV screen.

    Information

Naam hi time hai, says Kashyap

Further in the clip, Kashyap tells Pannu about the film that he wants to offer her. He adds that the title of the movie comes with a big clue. Interestingly, "Dobaaraa" also means 2:12, a time that might hold significance in the film's story.

The movie was a detour for Kashyap, who is known for his gritty and hard-hitting storytelling style.

The film also starred Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles, and was widely well-received. The movie was also praised for its music and songs.
