'Agatha All Along': Who plays who in new MCU show
The highly-anticipated Marvel series Agatha All Along premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on Thursday morning (IST). The show is a spin-off of WandaVision and focuses on the character of Agatha Harkness, portrayed by Kathryn Hahn. Hahn returns as Agatha Harkness
Hahn reprises her role as Agatha Harkness, a powerful witch who can absorb the powers of other witches. In WandaVision, Agatha posed as a nosy neighbor named Agnes before revealing her true identity. She was later left trapped in Westview by Wanda, working as a police investigator until she was awakened by a mysterious teenager and an old friend.
Joe Locke plays a mysterious teenager
Joe Locke portrays a mysterious teenager who is also an amateur witch and a big fan of Agatha. His character's true identity is currently unknown, but he is referred to as Wanda's pet and familiar. Locke is known for his role as Charlie Spring in the Netflix series Heartstopper and made his Broadway debut in Sweeney Todd.
Ali Ahn and Aubrey Plaza
Ali Ahn plays Alice Wu-Gulliver, the daughter of a legendary singer who is recruited to join Agatha's coven. Ahn is known for her roles in Liberal Arts, Supernatural, and Billions. Aubrey Plaza portrays Rio Vidal, an old friend of Agatha's who initially approaches her as a federal agent. Plaza is recognized for her roles in Parks and Recreation, Dirty Grandpa, and Ingrid Goes West.
Patti LuPone and Sasheer Zamata
Patti LuPone plays Lilia Calderu, a resident of Westview who lives a normal life as a psychic. LuPone is known for her roles in Witness (1985), State and Main (2000), and Heist (2001). Sasheer Zamata portrays Jennifer Kale, a colleague of Agatha's who lives nearby in Westview. Zamata is recognized for her voice roles in Exploding Kittens, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, and Tuca & Bertie.
Debra Jo Rupp reprises her role as Mrs. Hart
Debra Jo Rupp returns as Mrs. Hart, a character who was known as Sharon Davis in Wanda's hexed Westview. She is a chatterbox who enjoys gardening. Rupp is known for her roles in Big with Tom Hanks, She's Out of My League, and That '70s Show. She recently reprised her role as Kitty Forman in the Netflix series That '90s Show.
