Disha Patani's next is Rs. 150 crore period film 'Sangamithra'
After delivering two back to back successes at the box office, Disha Patani will now play the titular role in the mega period film 'Sangamithra'. To be directed by Sundar C, the film is being made on a lavish budget of Rs. 150 crore. 'Sangamithra' will go on floors in July and will be released in Telugu and Hindi.
Producer Hema Rukmani confirmed signing Disha
"We are delighted to have Disha Patani play the titular role. 'Sangamithra' is our dream project. It's a larger-than-life period film with great technicians. Currently, the pre- production work on the film is going on in full swing," Hema Rukmani of Thenandal Studios Limited said.
Meanwhile, Disha's 'Baaghi 2' is rocking the box office
The 25-year-old actress is currently basking in the success of her latest release 'Baaghi 2' starring Tiger Shroff. It is all set to become Disha's consecutive Rs. 100 crore grosser after 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story'. 'Baaghi 2' has been directed by Ahmed Khan and also features Randeep Hooda, Manoj Bajpayee, Prateik Babbar, Deepak Dobriyal.
