Here's why Disha Patani agreed to do Salman Khan's 'Bharat'
Disha Patani is in a happy space these days, especially on the career front. Her last release 'Baaghi 2' was a hit at the box office and she is currently gearing up for Salman Khan-starrer 'Bharat'. There are reports that 'Bharat' will be a two-heroine project, and Disha along with Katrina Kaif will be the female lead in the movie. Sounds interesting, doesn't it?
Will Disha get insecure of Katrina?
We all know that Katrina is a bigger name than Disha and her sizzling chemistry with Salman is something everyone yearns to watch. Disha, still being a newbie in the industry, will have to work hard to make her presence felt in 'Bharat'. There are speculations that given that 'Bharat' has two leading ladies, screen space might make Disha a bit insecure.
Interestingly, screen space is not a concern for Disha
But contrary to reports, Disha isn't concerned about her screen space in 'Bharat'. In fact, she had signed the movie irrespective of her part in the movie. "She said that she will do the film irrespective of her part in it because it is a beautiful story. She also added that the film is more important than anybody's role," Ali Abbas told TOI.
Content wins over other facts
Ali Abbas Zafar also revealed that these days it is the content that the stars are more concerned about. "Even big actors get excited about great content in the mainstream space. So, I can't take something that's substandard to any of the top stars. Every Friday becomes a career-defining moment. When the expectations are higher, the challenge becomes that much bigger," he added.
After Malta, 'Bharat' to be shot in Abu Dhabi
Reportedly, 'Bharat' team will soon be heading to Abu Dhabi for a 15-day schedule. "It's going to be a 15-day shooting schedule and they will be there in Abu Dhabi by September 27th or 28th," Bhushan Kumar told Gulf News. The team had recently wrapped up the shooting in Malta. 'Bharat' will also star Tabu, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover in key roles.
