Disha Patani is the latest addition to Salman-Priyanka's 'Bharat' cast
Disha Patani has been roped in for a pivotal role in Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra starrer 'Bharat'. Director Ali Abbas Zafar took to Twitter to make the announcement and welcome Disha on-board for the ambitious project. The 'Baaghi 2' actress will be seen as a trapeze artiste of the 1960s circus in the film.

Ali reveals why he chose Disha for the role
Talking about the development to a publication, Ali said, "The pairing of Salman and Disha in a circus set-up in the '60s is unusual and exciting." "She is a promising star and for this character, we needed a girl who looked vulnerable and beautiful yet had the physicality of an athlete. Disha fit the bill perfectly," he added.

Sunil Grover is also a part of the film
Another interesting member of the star cast of 'Bharat' is Sunil Grover. The actor-comedian will be playing Salman's friend in the film. Salman and Sunil have previously collaborated on a special comedy show titled 'Super Night With Tubelight'.
'Bharat' will hit the screens on Eid 2019
'Bharat' marks the third collaboration between Salman and Ali after 'Sultan' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. Priyanka has also worked with Ali in 'Gunday'. Being produced by Salman's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, 'Bharat' is an official remake of the 2014 South Korean film called 'Ode To My Father' and will be releasing on Eid next year.
