Dimple Kapadia quashes health rumors, says her mother is hospitalized
Veteran actor Dimple Kapadia has dismissed rumors of her ill health, and said that it's actually her mother Betty who has been hospitalized. However, her health has improved now, she added. Notably, rumors about Dimple's hospitalization spread after her daughter Twinkle Khanna was spotted outside a hospital in Mumbai on Saturday. Here's more on what she said.

Denying the rumors, Dimple told IANS, "I am alive and kicking. It's my mother who has been hospitalized. I don't want to talk about it. My mother is doing fine. She is better now. I need all the prayers and best wishes." Betty, 80, was diagnosed with respiratory problems and is currently in the ICU at Hinduja Health Care in Khar West.

Separately, on the work front, Dimple was last seen in Anees Bazmee's Welcome Back (2015). Next up, she is set to star in renowned Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan's upcoming action thriller movie Tenet. The film, also starring Robert Pattinson, John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clemence Poesy, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh, and Himesh Patel, is expected to hit the theaters in July 2020.
