FIR against Diljit Dosanjh for allegedly hurting Sikh sentiments

Objections raised over lyrics of the song 'Pant Mein Gun'
The complaint has been lodged by Jasjeet Singh who is offended by the lyrics of 'Pant Mein Gun' song that features Diljit. According to the petitioner, the song is against the principles of Sikhism as Sikhs do not keep guns but Katar (daggers) in their pants. The petition has been filed in Amritsar and Mumbai.
Multiple roadblocks for 'Welcome To New York'
Another song from the film 'Ishtehaar' has also been mired in a controversy because it has been sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Singer-turned-politician Babul Supriyo has launched a protest against the artists from across the border lending their voices to Bollywood songs. Touted as India's first 3D comedy, 'Welcome To New York' will be releasing this week.
