Diljit Dosanjh becomes first turbaned Sikh to have wax statue
Diljit Dosanjh, the rising sensation from Punjab, successfully carved a niche for himself with his impeccable acting prowess. The singer-turned-actor became the national crush of India as soon as he made his debut with Anurag Kashyap's Udta Punjab. And now Diljit is set to add another feather to his cap as he will get his own wax statue at Delhi's Madame Tussauds museum.
Diljit's wax statue to create history
Indeed, it's a proud moment for Diljit and his fans across the world. Interestingly, the Soorma actor will be creating history with his wax statue as he is the first turbaned Sikh to have a wax figure at Tussauds. Earlier, he had also shared pictures of the day his measurements were taken for the wax figure. Reportedly, the team took over 200 measurements.

Wax Statue will be unveiled on Thursday
Diljit's wax statue will be unveiled on February 28 at Madame Tussauds Delhi, located in the iconic Regal Building at Connaught Place. The statue will be unveiled by the actor himself. Notably, after unveiling his statue, Diljit will join a host of other national and international celebrities including Virat Kohli, David Beckham and Sachin Tendulkar who have their wax figures at Madame Tussauds Museum.
Diljit gearing for 'Good News' with Kareena
On the work front, Diljit is currently shooting for Akshay Kumar-Kareena Kapoor starrer Good News which hit the floors recently. Interestingly, this will be Diljit's second collaboration with Bebo after Udta Punjab. The movie will also star Kiara Advani. Apart from this, the actor will also be seen in Rohit Jugraj's upcoming directorial Arjun Patiala with Kriti Sanon, Varun Sharma and Ronit Roy.
