Dilip Kumar hospitalized due to chest infection
On Wednesday, veteran actor Dilip Kumar was hospitalized after he complained of difficulty in breathing. He was soon rushed to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital, where he has been kept under observation. The news was shared on his official Twitter handle, saying that "he was bit uneasy due to a chest infection. He's now recuperating."

Earlier, Kumar was admitted to the hospital for kidney-ailments and was kept under supervision for a couple of days and was discharged later. Further, he was also diagnosed with pneumonia in 2017 and was advised complete rest. We wish a speedy recovery to the legend.

Dilip Kumar aka Yusuf Khan started his career with 1944 release 'Jwar Bhata', also starring Saira Banu in the lead. He later gave several iconic movies in his career of over six decades, including 'Naya Daur', 'Devdas', 'Mughal-e-Azam', 'Ganga Jamuna', 'Ram Aur Shyaam', 'Karma' etc. Notably, he was known as the 'tragedy king' of Bollywood, and was last seen in 1998 release 'Qila'.

The legendary actor, who enjoys a huge fan following, has been honored with some of the most prestigious awards in the nation. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan award in 1991 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994. He was also honored with the Padma Vibhusan award in 2015 for his exceptional contribution to Indian cinema.
