Sushant Singh Rajput to undergo massive transformation for 'Dil Bechara'
Sushant Singh Rajput is all set to bring Dil Bechara, the Indian adaptation of the hit Hollywood film The Fault In Our Stars, on screens this year. And according to Times of India, Sushant, who plays the role of a cancer patient, will be undergoing a major transformation for maintaining authenticity. He has apparently lost a lot of weight for this film.
'Dil Bechara' revolves around two cancer-stricken patients
The Fault in Our Stars or Dil Bechara revolves around two cancer-stricken patients who meet each other at a cancer support group. The two then embark on a life-changing journey, which brings them even closer. Dil Bechara also stars Sanjana Sanghi in the lead.
"Everyone will be surprised after seeing Sushant in 'Dil Bechara'"
Notably, Mukesh Chhabra, a noted casting director who turns director with Dil Bechara, is highly impressed with Sushant. Singing praises for the 33-year-old actor, Mukesh stated that Sushant would surprise everyone with his performance in the film. "He is outstanding. He works hard. That is the main point. Everyone will be happily surprised after seeing his work in Dil Bechara," Mukesh told Bollywood Life.
On comparison with the original, Mukesh says "let audiences decide"
Given the fact that Dil Bechara is the Bollywood remake of a Hollywood movie, it is bound to face comparisons with the original flick. However, Mukesh is unfazed by all that and wants the audience to take a call. "I have done my work as well as the team with full honesty. Let the audience decide. Dil Bechara is pure love," he added.
For now, Sushant is gearing up for 'Chhichhore'
Meanwhile, Sushant, who was last seen in Sonchiriya, is looking forward to the release of Chhichhore, a romantic comedy by Nitesh Tiwari. Also starring Shraddha Kapoor, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar, Nalneesh Neel and Naveen Polishetty, the movie revolves around seven friends. Chhichhore is slated to release on August 30 this year.
