The 2018 adventure comedy, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, starring Dhanush, is finally coming to India for streaming.
The film, which marked Dhanush's Hollywood debut, had been available on Prime Video for viewers outside India.
Now, nearly seven years later, Indian audiences can finally catch the film on Aha from March 26, 2025.
Plot
'Fakir' is based on a French novel
The movie is inspired by a French novel, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in a Wardrobe.
The film tells the story of Ajatashatru "Aja" Lavash Patel (Dhanush), a Mumbai street magician fooling people into believing he has real magical powers.
After his mother's death, Aja sets off to find his estranged father in Paris, with a fake €100 note.

Directed by Ken Scott, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir has a screenplay by Scott, Romain Puertolas, and Luc Bossi.
The film also stars an ensemble cast including Berenice Bejo, Erin Moriarty, Barkhad Abdi, Gerard Jugnot, Ben Miller, Abel Jafri, Kay Greidanus, and Amrutha Sant.
Apart from The Extraordinary..., Dhanush has also starred in another international project: The Gray Man alongside Ryan Gosling.
