
Dhanush's 'Idly Kadai' release postponed: Here's why
What's the story
The release of the highly anticipated film Idly Kadai, starring Dhanush, has been pushed.
Producer Aakash Baskaran from Dawn Pictures, who's co-producing the film with Dhanush's Wunderbar Films, recently confirmed the delay.
Initially slated for a worldwide release on April 10, the film's release date will be revised due to pending shooting schedules.

'Idly Kadai' filming near completion, final scenes pending
Baskaran told Cinema Vikatan, "We have almost completed the film. Just another 10% remains to be shot."
"We need to shoot this in foreign. It is a combination scene that will have Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay sir, Rajkiran sir, Parthiban sir and all the actors."
"We couldn't get common dates of all the artistes and that was the reason why we couldn't shoot this combination seqeuence. We didn't want to rush through as the film has come out really well."

'Idly Kadai' features Arun Vijay as antagonist
Arun Vijay plays the antagonist in Idly Kadai and Shalini Pandey has also been confirmed to play a pivotal role.
The project, directed by Dhanush, is produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films and Dawn Pictures.
The film has cinematography by Kiran Koushik and music by G V Prakash.
Meanwhile, Dhanush's recent directorial Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, was released in February.
