Dhanush to appear in double role in Selvaraghavan-directed 'Naane Varuven'?
What's the story
After Kodi (2016) and Pattas (2020), Dhanush will be seen in a double role again in Naane Varuven, said reports.
However, there has been no official confirmation yet.
Reports added that a new shooting schedule of the film commenced earlier this week.
Touted to be a psychological drama, Naane Varuven is being directed by Dhanush's brother Selvaraghavan with Indhuja Ravichander as the female lead.
Context
Why does the story matter?
The film reunites Dhanush with his brother professionally after almost a decade.
They both started their film career together with Thulluvadho Ilamai, which was Dhanush's acting debut and Selvaraghavan's directorial debut (their father, director Kasthuri Raja, was credited for business reasons).
Dhanush-Selvaraghavan worked again in noted films like Kadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai, and Mayakkam Enna. Their successful collaboration makes Naane Varuven a special film.
Information
Album composition done, shooting commenced this week
While the shooting process has started, Selvaraghavan took to Twitter last month to inform that they are finished with the soundtrack and background score.
He posted a photo featuring himself and renowned music composer and Dhanush's frequent collaborator Yuvan Shankar Raja and revealed that they have "completed the album."
"Can't wait to share it with you all!" he added in the post.
