Dhanush reveals title for next directorial: 'Idly Kadai'
Tamil cinema's multi-talented star Dhanush is all set to direct his next film, which is now officially titled Idly Kadai. The actor-turned-director, known for his successful directorial ventures such as Pa Paandi and Raayan, has already started working on this project. The film is expected to have a stellar ensemble cast including Dhanush himself, Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Ashok Selvan, and Rajkiran among others.
'Idly Kadai' already on floors; official announcement awaited
The film title was revealed with a poster featuring a man standing in front of a vendor at sunset. Production for Idly Kadai has already begun, with GV Prakash set to compose the music. However, the storyline and cast for the project are still awaited. This news shortly follows Dhanush's announcement of his next film, D52 (formerly tentatively titled), which will be produced by Dawn Pictures.

Dhanush's upcoming projects include 'Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam,' 'Kubera'
Dhanush, who was last seen in Raayan, is currently awaiting the release of his directorial venture Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam. The film features a young cast and is expected to hit the screens soon. In addition to this, Dhanush will also be seen in Sekhar Kammula's upcoming film Kubera, co-starring Akkineni Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh. The release date for Kubera is yet to be announced.
Dhanush to collaborate with Aanand L. Rai
Apart from his Tamil projects, Dhanush is also set to collaborate with Bollywood director Aanand L. Rai for the film Tere Ishk Mein. The upcoming film is scheduled to start production by the end of this year. Dhanush has previously worked with Rai in Atrangi Re, co-starring Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar. While the female lead for the film is yet to be revealed, there are speculations about Triptii Dimri and Kriti Sanon being considered for the role.
