'Dhadak' trailer: Janhvi-Ishaan will win you over with their innocence
The anticipation levels for the trailer of 'Dhadak' were on par with that of a Khan film, courtesy Janhvi Kapoor. Everyone's hearts were going 'Dhadak' to see Sridevi's daughter perform. Well, the elongated wait has now come to an end as the trailer has finally been released. Featuring Ishaan Khatter alongside Janhvi, the trailer certainly lives up to the hype.
A day Sridevi was waiting for more than anything else
As we all know, Sridevi's one and only desire was to see her daughter on the big screen. She had shared her excitement for 'Dhadak' in multiple media interactions. However, fate had other plans as the legendary actor left for the heavenly adobe just months before the film's release. And we are sure Janhvi must be missing her the most today.
The trailer has multiple heart winning moments
Janhvi and Ishaan's love story takes us on an emotional roller coaster in just three minutes. There are certain moments that stand out such as the one where Ishaan confesses his love for Janhvi by singing 'Tu Jaane Na' from 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani'. Another being the scene in which Janhvi threatens to shoot herself to save Ishaan from getting arrested.
Twitter seems satisfied with the trailer
The initial reactions to the trailer have been largely positive on Twitter. While some are praising Janhvi and Ishaan for putting up a stellar show acting-wise, others are impressed by the storyline. From the looks of it, the film seems a sure-shot winner which means a dream start for Janhvi in Bollywood.
'Dhadak' is releasing in July
A remake of the Marathi blockbuster 'Sairat', 'Dhadak' has been helmed by Shashank Khaitan of 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' and 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' fame. The film will be hitting the screens on July 20.
