Jr. NTR teases Janhvi's bigger role in 'Devara' sequel
Janhvi Kapoor recently made her South Cinema debut with Devara, helmed by Koratala Siva. In this action-drama, she plays Thangam, the romantic lead opposite Jr. NTR's character, Vara. As audiences dive into the first part, excitement for the sequel is on the rise thanks to NTR's hints about Kapoor's character being pivotal to the storyline.
'Her character is completely woven into Devara'
In a recent interview, NTR opened up about Kapoor's role in Devara. "Janhvi's character is not just a love story because we need to have a romantic track in the film," he said. He added, "Her character is completely woven into Devara as a movie. So part two is going to be a delight." To note, Kapoor has an extremely limited role in Devara, raising questions about her importance to the plot.
'Devara' plot and star-studded cast
Devara, released on September 27, features Saif Ali Khan in a significant role along with NTR in dual roles as father and son — Devara and Vara. The film's plot revolves around smugglers from four villages in a coastal region who are excellent at their work and highly-trained.
