Devara: Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva and featuring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, has reportedly surpassed the ₹60cr mark in advance bookings, reported Hindustan Times. The movie's pre-release ticket sales began earlier this week. The film is set to hit theaters on Friday and is particularly expected to do well in South India.
'Devara: Part 1' advance booking breaks records
Per Sacnilk, Devara: Part 1 has collected ₹42.86cr from blocked seats in India alone, selling over 10L tickets for the Telugu 2D version and more than 40,000 tickets for the Hindi 2D version. The film's highest earnings have come from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where it has generated ₹16.86cr and ₹17.2cr respectively. These figures highlight the film's widespread appeal across different regions of India.
'Devara: Part 1' plot and cast details
During the Beyond Fest in Los Angeles, Jr NTR described Devara: Part 1 as a "rollercoaster journey of a father and son." He will be seen in dual roles as Devara and Varada, while Khan portrays the antagonist Bhaira and Kapoor plays Thangam. The film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Other notable cast members include Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, and Murali Sharma.
