'Devara' glimpse: A peek into Saif Ali Khan's villainous world
As Saif Ali Khan celebrated his 54th birthday on Friday (August 16), the makers of Devara gave fans a special treat with a "tiny glimpse" of the actor from the movie. The film's team shared a teaser on X/Twitter to mark the occasion and wish Khan. In this eagerly-awaited film—set to hit theaters on September 27—Khan will make his Telugu debut, starring alongside Janhvi Kapoor, and Jr NTR.

In the teaser clip, Khan, who plays the antagonist Bhaira, is seen in a rugged, rustic avatar. The clip, spanning less than a minute, opens with an intense fight scene where Khan dominates his opponent with ruthless actions. His unkempt hair and intense gaze throughout the clip enhance the menacing aura of his character. The makers captioned the post: "The hunt will be more brutal than ever."

The movie is directed by Koratala Siva and marks his second collaboration with Jr NTR after the 2016 film Janatha Garage. The film also features Kapoor in her Telugu debut. According to reports, Devara will showcase Jr NTR in dual roles, playing both father and son. However, confirmation is still pending. The plot of Devara, which translates to "God of the Sun," reportedly revolves around forgotten coastal lands used for smuggling.
