Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics and audiences, Devara: Part 1 has managed to pull in impressive numbers at the box office. The film is directed by Koratala Siva and features NTR in dual roles as father Devara and son Varadha. It also marks the Telugu debut of Kapoor and Khan. The supporting cast includes Prakash Raj, Shruti Marathe, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, and Murali Sharma.
'Devara: Part 1' is a commercial film
Trade analyst Girish Johar told Zoom, "Devara is a massive release down South and in the overseas region, and their respective openings are also fantastic." He noted that the Hindi market has not responded similarly, despite big Hindi actors Khan and Kapoor being attached to it. "The primary reason for the low opening in Hindi is the low marketing push and promotions within the Hindi belt," he added.
