Kapil Sharma is going through the toughest phase of his life at present.

The recent unfortunate happenings have taken a toll on his mental health and he is trying hard to get back on his feet.

Kapil's good friend Rajiev Dhingra has revealed that the actor-comedian is currently under heavy medication for depression.

    Details

Rajiev expresses deep concern over Kapil's health

Rajiev, who was a creative partner in Kapil's shows and also the director of 'Firangi' said, "Yes, Kapil is on heavy medication. His health is of primary concern. I don't care about whether his show is on air or not."

"He has to get well first. And for this to happen, people who have brought him to this mental condition must stop bothering him."

He indirectly slammed Kapil's ex-girlfriend Preeti Simoes and her sister

"They know who they are. Kapil is still an innocent small-town boy. People exploited his innocence for their gains. Even now when he's suffering so much they're trying to play on his guilt so that he would take them back in his life," he said.

    Context

Kapil is at an all-time low both personally and professionally

For the past few months, Kapil has been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons.

Just before the onset of his comeback show, he had an ugly public spat with Sunil Grover.

And when his new show, 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma' didn't garner the expected response, it has officially been scrapped.

Most recently, he was under fire for his abusive rant against a journalist.
