Deepika opens on how she was chosen for the movie
Ranveer and Deepika were last seen together in Padmaavat. Undoubtedly, they wooed everybody with their stellar performance like always. Now, Ranveer will be seen playing Kapil Dev in '83 while Deepika will be playing his wife, Romi Bhatia. On being approached by director Kabir Khan Deepika said, "This happened a couple of months ago when he was still casting the boys for the film."
Deepika speaks on her professional work ethics with husband Ranveer
Deepika, who recently wrapped shooting for Chhapaak (which is based on acid-attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal's life) opened up about her professional ethics with husband Ranveer. She said that their personal equation never gets mixed with work. "The personal equation doesn't spill over into the workspace," she said in an interview. She also added that she tries to remain honest with her characters.

Deepika and Ranveer's romance prospered after they came together for Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela in 2013. For some time, they tried to keep their relationship hidden but when you have shutterbugs all around you, it becomes impossible. After dating for six years, they tied the knot on November 14-15, 2018. They exchanged vows at Lake Como, Italy.
'83' traces India's first WC win
'83 , which is directed by Kabir Khan, is already making cricket fans crazy as it will recreate the iconic win of 1983 World Cup, where India won against West Indies. The movie is scheduled to hit the big screens on April 10, 2020.
