Sanjay Leela Bhansali's films are known for their grandeur - palatial sets, extravagant costumes and poetic framework. Now imagine watching all of this in 3D. Well, you'll not have to imagine for long because you'll be able to watch it for real starting December 1. Yes, Bhansali's much-awaited magnum opus, Padmavati, starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, will also release in 3D.
Hollywood technicians to assist in making of the 3D version
Padmavati's 3D trailer is scheduled to be unveiled today in Mumbai. Since just one month remains for the film's release, Bhansali has sought help of Hollywood technicians to ensure his vision translates majestically on the screen in the 3D version as well. Meanwhile, Padmavati's trailer has crossed over 38 million views on YouTube. The song Ghoomar has over 27 million views in five days.

Padmavati is Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's third outing with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. They have worked previously to deliver blockbusters like Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela (2013) and Bajirao Mastani (2015). With this film, Shahid Kapoor joins the team for the first time.
