Deepika Padukone wants to try her hands at film production
The reigning queen of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone, has expressed her desire to set up her own production house someday. A few days back, in an interview with Rajeev Masand, the 'Padmaavat' star said that she would love to don the producer's hat. And now, a media report has it that Deepika has already started her homework.
Content-driven films will be Deepika's priority
"Deepika is focusing on setting up her own production house. She wants to be associated with interesting and content-driven films. She will be foraying into film production very soon," said the media report.
Anushka, Priyanka have already made a mark as producers
Deepika seems to be getting inspiration from her colleagues Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra who have now cemented their place as producers. While Anushka is hailed for backing unique subjects, Priyanka is mostly known for producing regional films. Anushka has also been bestowed with the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for being a path-breaking producer.
