Holding hands, newly-weds Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone return home
What's the story
Bollywood stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone returned to Mumbai after their wedding in Italy on Wednesday and Thursday.
The couple was clicked as they were leaving the airport and their smiles caught the attention of all.
Deepika and Ranveer color-coordinated their outfits, as both of them wore red and beige colored Sabyasachi outfits.
While posing for paparazzi, they held onto each other.
Sindoor
Deepika's sindoor exemplifies her gorgeousness
In the pictures which surfaced on social media, what caught our attention was Deepika's sindoor, a mandatory item which married Hindu women swear by.
Deepika also chose to wear heavy jewelry as she returned home with her husband. From earrings to necklace and bangles, Deepika wore them all, completing her attire.
If one looks closely, one can see mehendi on Ranveer's palm too.

The wedding
Deepika and Ranveer's marriage was all everyone talked about
After dating for almost six years, in October Deepika and Ranveer announced they would be getting married in November.
They chose Italy's Lake Como as their destination and kept it a private affair. Only close friends and family members attended the ceremonies.
They got married twice, one as per Konkani rituals and soon an Anand Karaj ceremony followed.
They will host two wedding receptions.
Pictures
They managed to make a private event, a national function
Anyone who followed the 'DeepVeer wedding' would know the couple made us wait extremely long for the pictures.
Nothing about the functions was revealed for days, and all media houses got were pictures from far, that too featuring only the attendees.
Ending an arduous wait, the couple finally posted pictures on social media. It was clearly worth it.
