Deepika emerges Instagram queen with 22.4 million followers
Deepika Padukone has emerged as the undisputed queen of Instagram. The 'Padmaavat' star has been declared as the winner of the 'Most Followed Account' title in the first-ever Instagram awards in India as she has the maximum followers (22.4 million). Following her at the second and the third positions are Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt with 22 million followers and 20.8 million followers respectively.
Deepika is overwhelmed by all the love
"Staying connected with my fans and loved ones is extremely important to me. I value the love, support & connection I share with them and I hope I continue to remain true and authentic," she said.

Instagram presented Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor with a milestone plaque for surpassing the 20 million mark. Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli won the title of 'Most Engaged Account' with 19.8 million followers. Budding actor Ishaan Khatter was given the 'Emerging Account' award for garnering a significant number of followers in the past one year.
