'Deadpool & Wolverine' collects ₹129cr in India by Day 19
The much-awaited Hollywood crossover, Deadpool & Wolverine, has been making waves at the box office. The film, which brings together two of Marvel's most beloved characters, has reportedly earned an estimated ₹129 crore in India by its 19th day of release. Directed by Shawn Levy and produced by Marvel Studios, 21 Laps Entertainment, and Maximum Effort, the film stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
Film's opening day collection stood at ₹21cr
Deadpool & Wolverine had a strong start at the box office, earning ₹21 crore across all languages on its opening day. By the end of the first week, the film's earnings had risen to ₹89.9 crore. The second week saw a slight dip in collections, but the film still managed to rake in ₹117.8 crore by the end of the week.
'Deadpool & Wolverine' continued strong run in third week
Despite entering its third week, Deadpool & Wolverine continues to perform well at the box office. The film earned an additional ₹11.25 crore by the end of Day 19, bringing its total collection to ₹129 crore. On its 19th day, the film earned around ₹1.15 crore across all languages.
Film's earnings broken down by language
The film's overall occupancy for English, Hindi, and Tamil was also reported. On its first day, the English version of Deadpool & Wolverine earned ₹10.9 crore, the Hindi version earned ₹8.1 crore, the Telugu version earned ₹0.9 crore, and the Tamil version earned ₹1.1 crore. By the end of the first week, these figures stood at ₹46.4 crore for English, ₹35.1 crore for Hindi, ₹3.5 crore for Telugu, and ₹4.9 crore for Tamil.
Second week saw decline; third week picked up pace
The second week saw a dip in collections with English earning ₹15.25 crore, Hindi earning ₹10.22 crore, Telugu earning ₹0.64 crore, and Tamil earning ₹1.79 crore. However, by Day 19, there was a slight increase with English earning an additional ₹3.4 crore, Hindi earning an additional ₹3.42 crore, Telugu earning an additional ₹0.08 crore, and Tamil earning an additional ₹0.42 crore.
