Australian cricketer David Warner is set to make his debut in Indian cinema with a cameo in a forthcoming Telugu action film, Robinhood.
The news was surprisingly revealed by the film's producer Y Ravi Shankar at a promotional event of another movie, Kingston.
"We are very happy to have launched David Warner in Indian cinema with Robinhood," Shankar said, excited about this unexpected collaboration.

Warner, who is famous for his passion for Indian movies and viral dance videos to Telugu songs, is sure to add a unique charm to Robinhood.
According to reports, he shot his portions for the movie during an Australia tour in September 2024.
Back then, some pictures of Warner on set had made their way online, leaving fans excited for this thrilling collaboration.
Film release
'Robinhood' set for release on March 28
Initially scheduled for release last year, the film will premiere in theaters on March 28.
Robinhood features Nithiin in the lead opposite Sree Leela and tells the story of a fearless thief, Honey Singh, who robs the wealthy to help the poor.
The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Shankar, with Cherry as CEO and Hari Tummala as Executive Producer.

The film is written and directed by Venky Kudumula under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. It also stars Vennela Kishore, Lal, and Dayanand Reddy, among others.
The music for Robinhood is given by National Award-winning composer GV Prakash Kumar, with cinematography by Sai Sriram, art direction by Raam Kumar, and editing by Koti.
