Muse's introduction in the 2016 'Daredevil' relaunch
Muse was first introduced in the 2016 Daredevil relaunch as a terrifying street artist and serial killer. In the Dark Art arc, Daredevil and Blindspot discover a painting made with the blood of over 100 people, leading them to Muse. The character is immune to Daredevil's enhanced senses and proves to be a formidable foe. After being imprisoned by the Inhumans, Muse escapes in the wake of New York's anti-vigilante laws enabled by The Kingpin, Wilson Fisk.
Muse's powers and abilities
In the comics, Muse is an artist with powers that include imperceptibility, super strength, and super speed. According to the Marvel Wiki, "Muse's body acts like a vortex which can pull in every bit of sensory information around him." This ability makes him a particularly challenging adversary for Daredevil, given Matt Murdock's heightened sensory perception. Moreover, Muse seems to be an incredibly agile and effective fighter, quickly taking down a group of six armed individuals with lightning speed.
Other villains set to appear in 'Daredevil: Born Again'
Meanwhile, the trailer for Daredevil: Born Again also confirmed the appearances of several other villains familiar to fans of the Netflix Daredevil series. Fisk will play a major antagonistic role alongside his wife Vanessa. Wilson Bethel's Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter (AKA Bullseye) also appeared at the beginning of the trailer. Fans are eager to see how these various villains, including Muse, will interact with Daredevil in the upcoming series.
