The fictional character of DC Comics, Damian Wayne is created by Grant Morrison and Andy Kubert. Wayne is the son of Batman and Talia al Ghul, and is the grandson of the villain Ra’s al Ghul. He is grown in an artificial womb, however, his existence was unknown to Batman until Wayne was genetically perfect. After Talia revealed his existence to Batman he was left under Batman’s custody. His first appearance was in ‘Batman: Son of the Demon’ in 1987. He subsequently appeared in the comics ‘Batman #655,’ ‘Batman #657’ and ‘Batman #666.’ He gets killed in ‘Batman, Inc #8’ and resurrected in ‘Batman and Robin vol. 2 #37.’ He is affiliated with the Batman Family, League of Assassins, Teen Titans, Legion of Super-Heroes, and Justice League. He has partnered with Superboy, Batman, Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin, Kid Flash, and Raven. His expertise lies in skilled martial arts, and hand-to-hand combat. He is a master swordsman, skilled detective, and computer hacker, and has the ability to wisely use high-tech equipment and weapons.
