'Do Aur Do Pyaar' outshines 'LSD 2' at box office
The newly released romantic comedy, Do Aur Do Pyaar, starring Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D'Cruz, and Sendhil Ramamurthy continues to dominate over Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 in the box office collections. Despite initial underwhelming performance, the film directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta picked up momentum over the weekend. However, it experienced a significant dip on Monday with earnings mirroring Tuesday's estimated collection of ₹28 lakh.
'Do Aur Do Pyaar' has reportedly collected ₹2.89 crore
Do Aur Do Pyaar, released on April 19, had a slow start at the box office with an initial collection of ₹55L. Positive buzz around the film led to a surge in collections over the weekend. However, Monday and Tuesday saw a considerable drop with each day garnering around ₹26L and ₹28L. The film has now reportedly amassed approximately ₹2.89cr in five days. Meanwhile, Dibakar Banerjee's LSD 2 earned ₹8L on Tuesday, taking its total haul to ₹81L.
'Do Aur Do Pyaar' recorded an overall occupancy of 9.25%
On Tuesday, Do Aur Do Pyaar recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 9.25%. The morning shows had a modest occupancy rate of 6.67%, while afternoon and evening shows recorded rates of 8.79% and 8.63%, respectively. The highest footfall was observed during the night shows with an occupancy rate of 12.91%.
