'Daayan' actors Tinaa Dattaa, Mohit Malhotra call a truce
Television actress Tinaa Dattaa shocked all after she accused her Daayan co-star Mohit Malhotra of sexual misconduct. Tinaa alleged that Mohit touched her inappropriately while filming an intimate scene. However, Mohit had dismissed all the allegations leveled against him. And now the story has taken a fresh turn after Tinaa has made peace with Mohit and is willing to work with him again.
We have concluded to make a new start, says Tinaa
In her recent interview with Tellychakkar, Tinaa revealed that she and Mohit have resolved their differences, and have decided to give their (professional) relationship a fresh start. The actress also stated that she has no issues in working with Mohit and will try maintaining a professional environment on the sets. "We've ironed out the differences. We've concluded to make a new start," Tinaa added.
Happy that our audience has liked the show: Tinaa
"Our on-screen chemistry works for the show. I am happy that our audience has liked the show and I am sure this new start will be appreciated by all and will put a rest to any further speculation," Tinaa told Tellychakkar.
When Tinaa accused Mohit of misbehaving with her repeatedly
Notably, the controversy started after Tinaa accused Mohit of touching her inappropriately while shooting an intimate scene for the show. She also claimed that Mohit has been misbehaving with her for a long time now. "I went public only after it became so much that I couldn't take it anymore. Nobody gives excuses like him that 'woh scene mein bahek gaya tha'," Tinaa stated.
If she was uncomfortable, why didn't she tell me: Mohit
On the other hand, Mohit had dismissed all allegations leveled against him and stated that nothing of this sort ever happened, as claimed by Tinaa. He also stated that Tinaa never spoke to him ever about being uncomfortable. "If she was uncomfortable, why didn't she tell me? We shoot on a set with 50 people watching us and everything is on camera," Mohit added.

Meanwhile, there were reports that Tinaa-Mohit's controversy has hit the show's TRPs, as a result of which the makers are planning to pull down 'Daayan'. The source further claimed that the makers are looking forward to wrapping up the storyline soon. Now with Tinaa and Mohit calling it a truce, we wonder if the makers will still pull down the show.
