'Crew' collected just ₹4 lakh on Tuesday
Crew collected approximately ₹55 lakh last Friday, mirroring its Thursday collection. The film saw a substantial 78% increase in earnings on Saturday, raking in ₹98 lakh. Sunday witnessed an additional 35% jump to ₹1.33cr, bringing the fourth weekend total to ₹2.86cr. However, the downward trend commenced on Monday, with collections plummeting by 63% to a mere ₹4 lakh. Tuesday's (Day 26) estimates suggest a similar figure, bringing the domestic total to ₹75.15cr, per Sacnilk.
What is the story of 'Crew'?
Conspicuously inspired by the downfall of Kingfisher Airlines, the movie portrays Vijay Walia (Saswata Chatterjee) as the head honcho of Kohinoor Airlines. This leader has announced his company's bankruptcy, leaving his 4,000 employees high and dry without their salaries, while he continues to live a life of luxury. Enter Jasmine (Kapoor Khan), Geeta (Tabu), and Divya (Sanon)—three flight attendants—who, fed up with Walia's greed, decide to take matters into their own hands by embarking on a daring heist.
'Crew' is Sanon's second hit of the year
