Popular TV actor Shivin Narang has revealed that an upscale residential complex in Malad, where he resides with his family, has been sealed after one of its residents tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The building is also home to other noted actors such as Sakshi Tanwar and Ankita Lokhande, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror.

The infected person has been hospitalized; family is in quarantine
Shivin informed the publication that the infected person had traveled to Spain.
He has been hospitalized and his family is currently in self-quarantine.
The Beyhadh 2 actor said, "About a week ago, a lady from the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) turned up, enquiring about everyone's health and travel history, and informed that they were sealing off the complex."

Shivin said the society is covered by police security
"She (the official) shared the contact of a doctor for emergencies. There is police security outside since and we can only go till the gate to pick up delivery of essentials like grocery and medicines," Shivin further informed.

Shivin said he stocked up on essential supplies, including medicines for his parents.
While accepting that the situation is difficult, the actor noted that there is no other option than to follow the guidelines.
He said he does not let his parents venture out, adding, "It is tough for the elderly who do not have younger family members to help (them) out."
