Lady Gaga-Travis Scott-Post Malone-Green Day to headline Coachella 2025
The much-awaited 2025 Coachella festival has revealed its star-studded lineup with Lady Gaga, Travis Scott, Green Day, and Post Malone headlining the event. The announcement was made on Wednesday (local time) by the event organizers. This is the 24th edition of the famous desert festival which will be held at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California over two weekends: April 11-13 and April 18-20.
Coachella 2025: More artists joining the lineup
The festival will also see performances by Missy Elliot, Megan Thee Stallion, Charli XCX, Anitta, Benson Boone, FKA Twigs, Clairo, Zedd, Junior H, Jennie Kim (BLACKPINK), Lisa Manoban (BLACKPINK), Mustard (DJ Mustard), Ivan Cornejo among others. The "Original Misfits" will take the stage on Saturday (April 12, April 19). After canceling her set at the 2024 festival due to a family emergency and health issues respectively, Tyla Yaweh is now confirmed to play on Friday (April 11, April 18).
Coachella 2025: Headliners' history and expectations
Malone's participation was teased earlier when he announced his 2025 "Big Ass Stadium Tour" with unannounced dates for Coachella. This will be his first time headlining the festival since 2018. Gaga returns as a headliner after her 2017 appearance where she stepped in for Beyoncé. Green Day makes their debut as a band, though lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong performed with the Replacements in 2014.
Scott's return and Hanumankind's debut
Scott will headline the main stage on Saturday night (April 13, April 20), returning after being dropped from the 2022 lineup after a deadly crowd surge at his Astroworld Festival. His representatives said he will "debut an entirely new era of music to the world." The festival will also see Indian rapper Hanumankind, only the second Indian artist to perform at Coachella after Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh in 2024.
