Born on May 31, 1930, Clint Eastwood Jr is an American actor, film director, producer, and composer who has several awards and accolades under his belt. He is best known for the American Western TV series ‘Rawhide’ (1959-1965). Eastwood began his career in 1955 with the movie ‘Revenge of the Creature.’ As of 2021, he has appeared in more than 50 Hollywood movies. Some of his notable performances include that in ‘Hang ’Em High’ (1968), ‘Dirty Harry’ (1971), ‘Magnum Force’ (1973), ‘The Enforcer’ (1976), ‘Every Which Way but Loose’ (1978), ‘Escape from Alcatraz’ (1979) ‘Any Which Way You Can’ (1980), ‘Sudden Impact’ (1983), ‘Heartbreak Ridge’ (1989), ‘In the Line of Fire’ (1993) ‘The Dead Pool’ (1988), ‘Unforgiven’ (1992), ‘The Bridges of Madison County’ (1995), ‘Million Dollar Baby’ (2004), ‘Gran Torino’ (2008), ‘The Mule’ (2018), and ‘Cry Macho’ (2021). He is the recipient of four Academy Awards four Golden Globe Awards, three Cesar Awards, and an AFI Life Achievement Award. Eastwood is a former Republican who served as the non-partisan mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California for two years. He endorsed American politician Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential election and businessman and Democrat Michael Bloomberg in the 2020 US presidential election.
