'Red One' trailer: Dwayne Johnson-Chris Evans hilariously search for Santa
The latest trailer for the upcoming film Red One reveals a thrilling Christmas adventure where Santa Claus, played by J.K. Simmons, has been kidnapped. It's up to an unlikely duo of reluctant bounty hunter Jack O'Malley (Chris Evans) and North Pole's Head of Security Callum Drift (Dwayne Johnson) to bring Santa back and save Christmas. The trailer begins with O'Malley being kidnapped, but he soon realizes the situation and fights back. Despite his efforts, he is captured and taken to the North Pole. Here, Lucy Liu's character Zoe informs him about Santa's abduction and his code name "Red One." "You're the best tracker in the world, you're going to help us find him," Zoe tells O'Malley. Will they find Santa in time?
'Red One' promises action-packed Christmas magic
Despite O'Malley's insistence on working solo, Drift informs him that the mission will be a team effort. The team, which includes a talking polar bear named Garcia, faces off against "extremely dangerous" kidnappers, including evil snowmen and sinister horned creatures. The fantasy-comedy drama film teases hidden portal stations in toy store supply closets and various toy transformations.

'Red One' reunites Johnson with director Jake Kasdan
Red One is directed by Jake Kasdan, who previously worked with Johnson on the third and fourth installments of the Jumanji franchise. The film's cast also includes Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Kristofer Hivju, Nick Kroll, and Wesley Kimmel. The movie is the first part of a potential franchise.
