Chris Evans talks about his last scene as Captain America
Chris Evans, who plays Captain America, is going to be hanging up his hero's suit after 'Avengers 4'. Evans had shared an emotional message with his fans and colleagues on the last day of his shoot as he prepared to move on to other things. Now, in a recent meeting, Evans opened up on the last lines he said as Captain America. Here's more.
Most big endings become unmemorable
Evans was attending the ACE Comic-Con when he spoke about his last lines as the super soldier. Despite having played the role in an iconic way in numerous films, Evans' last lines were surprisingly not impactful. In fact, he went on to call his last lines 'stupid' and said that the day was more memorable than his last lines as Captain America.
All about the last words Captain said
Although Evans called his last lines "really stupid" and "really dumb" he could not give away more details as they might be spoilers. However, he did reveal that his last words were to Paul Rudd, the actor who plays Ant-Man in the Marvel movies. Notably, he said that his line was part of a reshoot, and inconsequential in the course of his final day.
The little clues for Marvel fans
Evans' recounting of his final day and words as Captain America confirms one thing for fans. Ant-Man will be there in 'Avengers 4', which was already speculated when Rudd was seen on sets with Evans and Scarlett Johansson who plays Black Widow.
