Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is a historical drama based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film marks the first collaboration between Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna. While Kaushal portrays Sambhaji Maharaj, Mandanna plays his wife, Yesubai Bhonsale. The film also features an ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta.
