Vicky Kaushal's 'Chhaava' gets UA 16+ certificate; runtime revealed

The much-awaited period drama Chhaava, featuring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, has been certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
The film has been given a U/A certificate with a "UA 16+" rating. The CBFC website confirmed the certification was issued on February 1.
The movie's runtime has been set at 161 minutes and 50 seconds, which is roughly two hours and 42 minutes.

In Chhaava, Kaushal plays Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's son Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, while Mandanna plays Maharani Yesubai. Akshaye Khanna plays Mughal Shahenshah Aurangzeb in the film.
The star cast also includes Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Vineet Kumar Singh, Diana Penty, and Santosh Juvekar.
The official trailer and first song Jaane Tu have already been released to positive reception from viewers.

Despite an injury that has left her wheelchair-bound, Mandanna has been tirelessly promoting Chhaava across India.
Kaushal recently praised his co-star for her grit, saying, "Gliding on that 'throne' of yours, you've radiated nothing but the true spirit of a Maharani."
The historical drama has been directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films. It releases on Valentine's Day (February 14).
