The historical drama Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, has reportedly taken a solid start with its advance bookings.
The film has already raked in an all-India net collection of ₹2.35cr in advance ticket sales, excluding block seats, according to Sacnilk's data. The number goes up to an estimated ₹3.47cr with blocked seats.
Notably, the Hindi 2D shows contributed ₹2.2cr, followed by ₹5.9L from IMAX 2D.

The film has witnessed the highest bookings in Maharashtra, with an estimated ₹1.6cr net collection and ₹2.13cr with blocked seats.
Other states with major collections include Delhi, Karnataka, Gujarat, and Telangana, where the earnings range between ₹9.2L and ₹13.35L.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in pivotal roles.

Chhaava releases on Friday, February 14, and will have to contend with stiff competition from the Hollywood superhero film Captain America: Brave New World. The latter stars Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford.
While Chhaava narrates the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Brave New World marks the next chapter of Mackie-led Captain America who faces off against Ford's Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross/Red Hulk.

Mackie's solo outing as Captain America is projected to earn between $70 and $85 million over the first three days domestically, with a more optimistic four-day projection running between $80 and $95 million.
