Captain Marvel goes 'higher, further, faster' in new trailer
Super Bowl is a time for plenty of upcoming films and shows to drop their clips and get people excited. Understandably Marvel would want to get people hyped about their upcoming Captain Marvel movie, which releases on March 8, 2019. Thus they have dropped a new clip showing Carol Danvers' or Captain Marvel's powers and coolness. Check out the details of the new clip.
Brie Larson shows off coolness in new clip
Brie Larson who plays Captain Marvel appears to be spirited in the clip. We get a small peek into her training as a fighter pilot, and then training to be an elite Kree warrior. With interspersed glimpses at her military career, while introducing some major film characters like Nick Fury and Jude Law's Kree soldier, the clip culminates showing Captain Marvel in action.
Danvers' mantra from military days helps her become a superhero
We are introduced to Danvers' mantra from her military days as a fighter pilot. She always takes things 'higher, further, faster.' Sticking to this belief helps her become a determined fighter pilot, as the clip shows her persistently shooting at a military aircraft. However, it helps her most to eventually become Captain Marvel. As a superhero, she unleashes her power in the clip.
Try to keep up, Captain Marvel urges
Captain Marvel isn't holding back in this clip. She seems to be in complete control of her powers and appears to be enjoying them. The entire clip is a homage to the character's love for speed, from military airplanes to race cars to gaining powers of flight herself. She even sounds a little cocky about her powers when she urges 'try to keep up'.
A display of power before an interracial alien war
It is a good thing the clip shows us Captain Marvel enjoying her powers. After all, she has to be extremely comfortable and confident in her superhero role, if she wishes to stop the alien war between Krees and Skrulls.
