Callum Turner to star in Apple TV+ series 'Neuromancer'

This announcement, reported by Variety, marks Turner's second collaboration with Apple TV+, following his role in the World War II drama Masters of the Air. The forthcoming Neuromancer series is a 10-episode cyberpunk drama revolving around a high-stakes world of digital espionage and crime.

Turner will portray Case, a top-tier hacker with a troubled past, in the Neuromancer series. The plot centers on Case as he navigates a world filled with digital espionage and high-risk crime. Alongside his partner Molly, a "razor-girl assassin with mirrored eyes," they plan to execute a heist on a powerful corporate dynasty hiding numerous secrets. The series is the creation of Graham Roland and JD Dillard, with Roland also serving as showrunner and Dillard directing the pilot episode.
Turner has appeared in 'Fantastic Beasts' franchise, 'War & Peace'
Turner's acting portfolio includes roles in TV shows like Glue and BBC's adaptation of War & Peace. He has also appeared in the Fantastic Beasts franchise and films such as Queen and Country, Green Room, and The Boys in the Boat. The novel, Neuromancer, first published in 1984, is Gibson's debut work that pioneered the cyberpunk genre. It won several awards including a Hugo Award, a Nebula Award, and the Philip K. Dick Award.

The production of the Neuromancer series is a joint venture between Skydance Television, Anonymous Content, and Apple Studios. Drake's DreamCrew Entertainment will also be involved in the production.
