To recall, in November 2023, the incarcerated gangster Lawrence claimed responsibility for a reported shooting incident at singer Gippy Grewal's residence in Vancouver, Canada. The gang has previously targeted individuals associated with the actor, citing his involvement in the 1998 blackbuck hunting—during the shooting of Khan's Hum Saath - Saath Hain—case as their motivation. Notably, blackbuck is a species revered by the Bishnoi community.
