BIGHIT MUSIC, Min's agency, confirmed the incident in an official statement. The agency stated, "On the night of the 6th (Tuesday), while returning home drunk, SUGA used an electric kickboard while wearing his helmet. After moving about 500 meters, he fell while parking." Following a breathalyzer test conducted by a nearby police officer, he was fined and had his license revoked.
Agency apologizes for SUGA's actions, promises future caution
BIGHIT MUSIC expressed regret over Min's actions and apologized for disappointing many people due to his inappropriate behavior. The agency assured that they would be more careful in preventing such incidents in the future. They also mentioned that as a social worker, the rapper would face appropriate action from his workplace for actions causing social controversy.

At the time of the incident, Min was serving his mandatory military service as a social service agent. He began his basic training at the Nonsan Training Center in South Chungcheong Province before transitioning to this role. As of August 6, 2024, he had completed 320 days of his service and is scheduled to be discharged on June 21, 2025.
