Few days back, FX and Hulu released The New York Times documentary, Framing Britney Spears, triggering unprecedented conversation out of concern for the Princess of Pop, who is battling her father over her conservatorship. The impact has also reached celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker and Tamron Hall, who have voiced support for Spears.

Parker, Hall, rapper Rico Nasty, and Meghan McCain tweeted "Free Britney" with and without hashtags, soon after the series premiered, thus strengthening dialogue about Spears. Even Khloe Kardashian said she is "praying for queen Britney!"

Lawyers, media commentators and even her former assistant-turned-friend Felicia Culotta featured in the series, but neither Spears' family members nor the star herself appeared. Director Samantha Stark said they had tried "several different ways" of reaching Spears, but failed.

In a veiled reaction, Spears replied to the astounding support by commenting on her performance on Toxic. "Can't believe this performance of Toxic is from 3 years ago !!!
