Boney Kapoor to direct a biopic on Sridevi?
On February 24, 2018, Bollywood lost one of its shining stars, Sridevi. Needless to say, the loss was irrecoverable. But as the nation continues to miss the legendary actress, husband Boney Kapoor is planning to immortalize the diva. According to the media reports, Boney is planning to make a biopic on Sridevi which will be based on her much-talked-about life. Here's more.
Boney wants to tell Sridevi's story
Post Sridevi's demise, there's been a lot of buzz about her biopic. Although Boney didn't say anything on record, he has, reportedly, decided to tell Sridevi's story to the world. "He's definitely planning to tell Sridevi's story in a movie. Several journalists and authors have approached Boney and he may very soon select someone to write on Sridevi," a source told Deccan Chronicle.
Boney to copyright the story
The source further states that Boney is keen to copyright Sridevi's story. After all, Sridevi's biopic is an interesting topic for filmmakers and several directors have their eyes on it. "Before they get down to it, Boney wants to copyright Sridevi's story so that only he will be able to make her biopic the way he wants to," the source added.
Boney misses his Chandni
It isn't easy to bear the loss of a loved one and with Boney it's no different. The producer admitted missing his Chandni in every moment of his life. "To me, she was my love, my friend, mother to my girls, my partner. We miss her every moment. I feel that emptiness in my life that she has left behind," he was quoted saying.
