    Boman Irani to play Ratan Tata in 'PM Narendra Modi'

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming biopic PM Narendra Modi is in headlines again after it got a new member to its cast.

    Versatile actor Boman Irani has been roped in to play renowned business tycoon Ratan Tata in the movie.

    In fact, Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh also shared Boman's first look as Ratan Tata from the movie and he looks convincing.

    'We've already shot my part and it went very well'

    Reportedly, Boman is excited to essay the role of Tata on the big screen.

    Talking about the same, Boman stated, "I have always received comments on social media that I resemble Ratan Tata. So when Omung, Sandip and Vivek called me for the role, I immediately agreed. We have already shot my part and it went very well."

    He is an actor who motivates people, says producer

    Sandeep Singh, the producer of the film, is delighted to work with Boman.

    Notably, this is Sandip's second collaboration with Boman after Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi, also starring Farah Khan.

    "In spite of being so busy with his own directorial venture and prior commitments, as soon as we called him, he agreed. He is an actor who motivates people," the producer added.

    Boman praises Vivek, says he has worked 'with great maturity'

    Notably, PM Narendra Modi will star Vivek Oberoi in the titular role and his first look witnessed mixed reaction from the audience.

    However, Boman is all praises for Vivek and stated that he essayed the role with utmost maturity.

    "Vivek has worked really hard to get where he has gotten with the character. He has done it with great maturity and homework," he added.

    Cast

    'PM Narendra Modi' to have an ensemble cast

    Apart from Vivek and Boman, PM Narendra Modi will also star Manoj Joshi as BJP President Amit Shah.

    Besides, Barkha Bisht will portray PM Modi's wife Jashodaben while Zarina Wahab will be seen as his mother Heeraben Modi along with Darshan Raval and Prashant Narayanan in key roles.

    Helmed by Omung Kumar, the release date of the movie is yet to be announced.
