Celebs galore at Kolkata International Film Festival 2017
The 23rd Kolkata International Film Festival began yesterday. It will last for 8 days from November 10 to November 17. This year, the festival will showcase 142 movies from 65 countries in 19 categories. At the opening ceremony of Kolkata International Film Festival, the scions of Indian cinema Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol were present.

The 23rd Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) was inaugurated by Amitabh Bachchan, along with Shah Rukh Khan, Kamal Haasan and Kajol. He spoke about how unity in diversity and national integration are reflected in music in Indian cinema. He also talked about Rabindranath Tagore's contribution to cinema.
Shah Rukh Khan tries to speak Bangla in KIFF
Shah Rukh tried his hand at Bangla and also promised his fans that he would learn. "I have promised that I will keep on learning Bangla. My Bengali has to get better. This is my new attempt with eight lines. Please bear with me. Let me get this right because by next year I have to do it without reading it off a paper."
