'Blackout' teaser: Vikrant Massey, Mouni Roy star in intriguing thriller
The much-awaited teaser for the film Blackout has been released, featuring actors Vikrant Massey, Mouni Roy, and Sunil Grover. The film offers a unique blend of comedy and thriller elements. The teaser was launched by Anil Kapoor via social media on Tuesday. Kapoor shared the clip with the caption, "Samay Samay ki baat hai, dekhte hai yeh raat ka badshah koun hai (Only time will tell who'll come out victorious out of this night). #BlackoutTeaser Out now!"

The one-minute-long clip begins with Massey's character witnessing a road accident on a highway in the night. The accident-hit vehicle belongs to a robbery gang with a massive loot now unguarded. Massey's character then steals the loot. But attaining the riches won't be easy, as a night full of mishaps awaits. We get short snippets of Roy and Grover being part of the mess. The debut poster and release date were shared by the makers online last week.

'Blackout' poster and release date revealed
The poster depicted Massey and Roy in disbelief, while Grover smirked with an axe. Saurabh Ghadge and Karan Sonawane aka Focused Indian were also seen, appearing shocked inside a red car. The film is set to release on June 7, exclusively on JioCinema.

Blackout, a crime thriller comedy, is jointly presented by Jio Studios and 11:11 Productions. The film marks the directorial debut of Devang Bhavsar. It is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Niraj Kothari under 11:11 Productions. On the professional front, Massey is preparing for The Sabarmati Report, co-starring Raashii Khanna. Reports suggest that Massey will also join forces with Rajkumar Hirani for a project directed by Amir Satyaveer Singh, delving into the realm of cybercrime.
