Grammy and Oscar-winning musicians Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas have endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the 2024 US Presidential elections.
The siblings announced their endorsement on Instagram on Tuesday, which coincided with the US's National Voter Registration Day.
They also urged people to check their voter registration status and make a plan to cast their vote.

'We're voting for Kamala Harris, Tim Walz...'
In a video, Eilish said, "We are voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because they are fighting to protect our reproductive freedom, our planet, and our democracy."
"Vote like your life depends on it because it does," she added.
Finneas said, "We can't let extremists control our lives, our freedoms, and our future. The only way to stop them and the dangerous Project 2025 agenda is to vote and elect Kamala Harris."

History
Eilish, Finneas had also endorsed Biden in 2020
In 2020, Eilish endorsed Joe Biden for the US Presidential elections. She had performed at the Democratic National Convention and criticized then-President Donald Trump.
"Donald Trump is destroying our country and everything we care about," she had said, "We need leaders who will solve problems like climate change and COVID-19 — not deny them."
"Leaders who will fight against systemic racism and inequality."

Taylor Swift, Beyonce, others have also endorsed Harris
Eilish and Finneas's endorsement comes a week after pop sensation Taylor Swift endorsed Harris. The endorsement had led to nearly 4,00,000 visits to the vote.gov website.
Beyonce had given Harris permission to use her 2016 song Freedom as the candidate's campaign anthem.
Megan Thee Stallion, Bon Iver, Barbra Streisand, and John Legend have also expressed their support for the Harris-Walz ticket.
